Kayla Macfarlane, CPA, CA is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the area of financial accounting and auditing in the Faculty of Business and Information technology. Her experience includes the development of case-based curriculum, drafting, reviewing and editing technical accounting alerts, guides and other publications, as well as providing technical accounting support to audit practitioners. Kayla was also involved in the development of the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). She continues to take a leading role in the delivery of the program, as well as training and mentoring for new facilitators. Kayla is a contributing author to the CPA Canada publication: Guide to Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (GASPE). She is also a co-author of the following articles:
