Garrett Hayes is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Bachelor of Information Technology program at Ontario Tech University. His focus areas include: 

  • computer and network security
  • industrial control system security
  • cloud, software-defined data centres, and virtualization technologies
  • applied mathematics
  • blockchain technologies

In addition to his teaching duties, he is responsible for designing, deploying and managing the faculty’s Hacker Research Lab and private cloud.

Garrett received his Master of Science in Computer Science from Ontario Tech University. He also holds the Offensive Security Certified Professional designation.
