Background
Dr. Amirmohsen Golmohammadi joined Ontario Tech University after serving as an Associate Professor at Laurentian University. He earned his Ph.D. in Management Science from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University in 2015. In addition to his academic background, Dr. Golmohammadi has over three years of professional experience in the Information Technology and Oil and Gas industries.
His research interests focus on sustainable supply chain management. Specifically, he investigates how regulators can design effective environmental and social policies, and how businesses can adapt to these regulations. He also explores how companies can collaborate with supply chain partners, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and even competitors to enhance their social and environmental responsibility and achieve their sustainability goals. To support his research, he employs a variety of analytical methods, including game theory, stochastic optimization, and machine learning.
