Bachelor of Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence
The Bachelor of Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (BBAI) equips students with the knowledge and expertise to be informed decision makers in public and private sector careers. This unique program combining analytics and AI is guided by the university's 'tech with a conscience' ethos, and emphasizes sustainable business practices, the responsible use of technology in business and society, and ethical AI. The BBAI is a 4-year honours bachelor's program. Students complete 5 courses each semester on topics ranging from business, people, and operations analytics to the application and management of AI in various business domains. Students acquire foundational technical and applied skills, while also learning how to act and think responsibly with analytics and AI systems in the broader context of digital/AI transformation. This hybrid program, with the majority of courses delivered in person and on campus, features capstone, internship, co-op, and undergraduate thesis experiential opportunities.
Graduates from this program will be well-equipped to adapt to a changing economy and marketplace, where they will need to be proficient in AI skills, not just analytics, visualization or data science. They will need to understand AI processes and how they affect different workplaces, and the courses we have designed will equip them with the skills they need.
