Background
Lindsay Ristuccia is an Ontario Tech FBIT Alumni with a strong focus on preparing students for effective and ethical people management in today’s organizations. Her teaching emphasizes practical application, evidence-based HR practices, and the development of critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
Lindsay holds a Master’s in Industrial Relations and Human Resources (MIRHR) from the University of Toronto. She brings in-depth human resource knowledge gained through both her academic background and extensive industry experience. In the classroom setting, Lindsay utilizes real-world perspectives, integrating current industry trends with foundational HR theory. Her interests include labour relations, the multi-generational workforce, and inclusive workplace practices. She holds the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation and is in the final stages of securing her Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation.
As a previous student and teaching assistant at Ontario Tech, Lindsay is committed to student success and continuous improvement in teaching, curriculum design, and experiential learning.
