About the program
Each semester, fourth-year Faculty of Business and Information Technology (FBIT) students preparing to graduate participate in the Capstone program. Top-level students are matched with a host organization to help them develop strategies and recommendations to solve a physical, hands-on business issue. Students gain real-world learning experience, while clients have, at their disposal and competitive advantage, a selection of students with skills and knowledge relevant to core business growth.
Capstone students operate in teams, gaining exposure to outside organizations and their operations, and networking opportunities to apply learned project-management tools and techniques. Students work through a project management framework directed by a PMI Certified Project Manager (PMP). -
