Chinmay Jain is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Faculty of Business and Information Technology. His research primarily focuses on market microstructure, short selling, high-frequency trading, and financial regulations. His research paper on U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Rule 201 was awarded the best paper by Financial Review in 2012. He regularly presents his research at conferences such as Northern Financial Association and Financial Management Association meetings. He has taught courses on corporate finance, derivatives securities, electronic trading and exchanges, and international finance.
